I recently proudly and happily sent pictures of our newly installed underfloor heating. Yesterday, our inspector from the Bauherren-Schutzbund was on site. The report states, among other things: Required pipe length in the bathroom: 248 m; actual length 182 m. In the hallway, required 77 m, actual 61 m. Additionally, many minor defects regarding the impact sound insulation, taping, etc. All of this would have been nicely covered by the screed next week. Therefore, my well-intentioned advice to all homeowners: Really spend the few euros on independent construction supervision, it is definitely worth it!

We're not in the criticize and complain thread here ... but in the photos, berny, the laying distances do look very uneven. Good that someone is keeping an eye on it.

Involve as early as possible (have the construction service description checked).

It's clear, I only ever see everything in photos, can't measure anything on-site myself and am usually just glad when it finally continues after 3 months of winter break. Although on-site I would probably have only discovered 6 - 8 of the 16 defects listed in the report myself. The text was simply meant as advice with the independent construction monitoring ... there are simply so many things/trades in such a new build that even with daily personal site visits as a layman you can never discover all of them. I'm anyway glad: costs about 1% of the total construction costs and in my opinion is money very well spent. Soon there will be pictures here again...

If you mean the highly suspicious wall swords standing in front of the cellar, I’m not surprised at all. And definitely no!, I would never ever let them be "rebuilt" in the same way.
