think about what you want to do on this peninsula. Do you also have a cooktop or the sink there? If you cook there, you will always put down cutlery, a cutting board, or something else next to the cooktop. If there is an outlet there, the bowl will wobble when you place it on it or liquid will get into it. And when cooking, you always put things down on the right and left, so an outlet would be in the way. If you have a sink there, I wouldn't even consider an outlet.

And the stair cabinets in the attic in the bedroom and children's room are also finished.

the island is 2.50m. Definitely do it. If only to avoid knocking anything off with the cable when it otherwise hangs lengthwise over the island.

May I ask who made the stair cabinets and what it roughly costs? We are considering a closed staircase for the hallway to implement something like that. But apart from Pinterest pictures, I haven't found much. Probably only the local carpenter does that, right?
