The question remains, what would be negative / undesirable about classic joints (i.e. filled gaps at the edges)?now we only have 2 joints. If you can call it that. The slabs are laid edge to edge.

Haha I didn't mean the width It would be really cool if you could measure. So I meant the height of a step and the depth. So how many cm are available as a tread.

Really? - such a tiny little joint of half a centimeter between tiles of, say, 60x60, tone on tone or moderately contrasting, that almost looks away by itself (?)Optics
