Yes exactly. The plaster is based on that.

At the beginning, do not paint at all, especially in new development areas. It gets dirty anyway in the first few years, and then you can always paint it white or have it cleaned.

Of course, there are remedies against algae. These wash out more slowly nowadays. But you have to want it. You can also get it for [Oberputz], you don't have to mix it with paint and paint.

I have a few pictures again. It's fun to watch the progress. Next week the screed will be laid and the exterior walls will receive their larch wood paneling. You can already see a bit.

The covered terrace in the center of the building is taking shape. The scaffolding will still be needed for another week. The flooring will be the last to go in.

Under this terrace section is the house connection room – and another covered space where we can "tinker". The terrace is made of split larch wood.

Thanks to the scaffolding, I was able to take a close-up of the roof with solar tiles. Up close, you can see the differences. To get everything straight, the tiles will be "jiggled" once again.

From the north side, you can see that the house was not only built on but also into the hill. In the foreground is our sleeping level (upper floor), then comes the flat middle roof, which will be greened, and then the roof of the east part with the two "children's apartments".

The airspace above the dining area has been opened up - that really gives a completely different sense of space!

Unfortunately, my phone doesn’t have a wide-angle lens, so the room can only be captured to a limited extent:

We are definitely thrilled!

A note on the wall construction: no OSB, but one-sided double-layer Fermacell, then an insulation layer, then single Fermacell on the other side. That is supposed to offer more soundproofing than OSB.

I don’t know either one and therefore can’t offer any experience-based insights and just believe my home builder on this for now.

I am not really a fan of these wooden houses, but overall I like the two very much and they especially fit the surroundings!

Thank you for the feedback - blending in with the surroundings was one of the goals. When the garden is eventually designed in a few years and the wood has weathered to a gray tone, a good harmony between the house and the surroundings will emerge.
