I don't find it that bad, a pretty trellis with a non-damaging climbing plant in front and you also have visually separated entrance areas to the two living areas. On the contrary, I can even very well imagine it being very nice once it has grown in.

I also don't find the downpipe out of place - without it, it would look stranger to me. This way, there is at least a visual separation between the two front doors.

Yes, I don’t like the downpipes either. They have to go somewhere and they are even more annoying at the edge. Something grows around them and that’s fine.

Tomorrow the ceiling will be poured. The day after tomorrow the rear parapet will be prepared for concreting. Next weekend, the gable roof should then be erected in the middle.

My goodness, what an odyssey. Due to a planning error with the ventilation system, the concreting of the landing stairs and the upper floor ceiling, and consequently the roof truss, were delayed by 2 weeks. At least the first windows could then be installed almost simultaneously.
