Yes, unfortunately it is quite close. But we were aware of that and accepted it. We had to make some compromise, and this was the one. Although in the picture it looks like there is only 30 cm of space left. There is actually a bit more.

Final sprint:

This week, the ventilation system, electricity meter, and hot water boiler were installed. Heating/plumbing/ventilation is thus finished, electrical work is ongoing, but the electrician will have to come back after moving in to do some work in the kitchen, put the ventilation into operation, and wire the door station + Ekey.

The bus system is also working exactly as desired. Roller shutters / blinds worked right away. The long training time for KNX has really paid off by now. Especially my wife is very impressed and no less glad that I managed to get it all done. She had major concerns about this, after all ^^

The roof terrace is also finished; I took advantage of the nice weather to install the lamps.
The access path + carport was also filled up and compacted. That’s enough for this year; next year we will pave it.

Over the weekend, we will still paint the main bathroom and the base area in the technical room.
Then we can set up the sanitary fixtures and shelves there so that everything is ready for moving in.
On Monday the kitchen will be installed, and the carpenter will start with the stairs.

Right now everything is going well again, but it has to be, after all, we want to move in in 2 weeks

Now I remember why I don’t like to install upside down spotlights on the facade... really not nice what the grazing light causes there

Yes, it's obviously a matter of taste. But it doesn't bother us at all. I really pay attention to many things, but the texture of a plastered wall doesn't really matter to me. That's why we didn't choose a higher quality plaster for the interior. If you hadn't written that now, I probably wouldn't have noticed it.

I don't really notice things like that either. Smooth, too smooth, slippery smooth.... better to have edges and corners, grooves and scratches.
