Are there going to be another set of cabinets above the wall cabinets in the kitchen? I would be bothered by the different heights of the tall cabinet and the wall cabinet in connection with the items placed on top.

Phew, this mix of colors and surfaces takes some getting used to. And the wood also puts pressure on the room.

Something is definitely going to happen "up there." I don’t like the clutter up there either. But it’s just not finished yet... Whether it’s "only" a panel to cover the cable outlets (in the ceiling for the wall cabinet lighting that hasn’t been connected yet) or the same set of cabinets (it’s planned so that these fit exactly above) I don’t know yet. There are things with higher priority ;)

Actually an optimal spot for a gecko, which keeps the place free from spiders and mosquitoes; also nice to look at :D .

-> In the kitchen, the installation of the cabinet front is still missing. I have to saw it myself and attach hinges due to the known Ikea kitchen / Siemens cabinet issue.

This also works without hinges. Saw the front panel so long that the cabinet door just barely opens. Cut a strip from the remaining piece and mount it flush at the bottom to the side cabinets. This results in a gap of just under 1 cm, which actually does not stand out.
