We have two sockets on the front panel of the cooktop of the "peninsula" and also some on the wall. What disadvantages is the socket on the island supposed to have? On the island, I have one more obstacle when cleaning, one more cutout that depending on the countertop may also have to be paid for and maybe does not bother everyone but I lose the uninterrupted look.
