Sure, you may. This is the audio/video wall. Power for TV, telecom receiver, AV receiver, Apple TV, Blu-ray + spare. In the corners, not visible in the photo, there are also switchable sockets for lighting. The CAT sockets are for the devices, and the red/black sockets are for the 5.1 speakers.

Ah, the black/red ones are okay for sound.

But doesn't only the Smart TV need a LAN connection or the Telekom receiver? Wouldn't two be enough then?

I'm not asking provocatively, but because I'm building/planning myself ;)

Thanks for the info. You will probably post a picture of the finished state?! I think the pieces currently make the room look quite small.

Better too many than realize later that something is missing ;) I also planned 4 behind the TV. 2 below at the level of the sockets and then another two + 2 sockets above behind the TV. Then an empty conduit to connect top and bottom.

In hindsight, the sockets above were useless because my TV with One Connect only has a thin wire for power & connections and everything is still plugged in below. So now there are again missing power and Ethernet sockets (Mesh router, TV, Apple TV, and eventually the TV box).

I also can't use the sockets behind the TV anymore because it hangs with a No Gap wall mount. AND the useless sockets also forced me to hang it higher than I wanted...

Plans are great until they change or you buy the "wrong" TV... At least it looks good ;)

I have never seen so many (power) sockets on one wall, respect! :D I usually prefer to work with multiple sockets, they only cost 5 euros, have an on-off switch, and are more flexible. However, we have found that we would like single sockets in several places. Well, now it is like that, there is always a solution B :)

Yes and no. I'm a bit nerdy about this. I want all devices to output their native sound. This really only works via an A/V receiver. A nice side effect is that only one HDMI cable goes to the TV. My A/V receiver is basically the One-Connect box like with Samsung. And thanks to the sideboard from Munari, everything disappears behind white glass and is easily but invisibly operable with a single Logitech Harmony.
