I know the problem. We bought an awfully expensive pull-out intermediate shelf specifically for the washer-dryer tower (dryer on top of the washing machine) in the condominium so that laundry from the dryer could be placed there until everything was folded and put away. Guess what ends up on it? Laundry makes up the smallest part, and if it does, it's from the penultimate wash cycle. The sofa is always full of jackets, scarves, and who knows what else. And we have hooks and hangers. And since I have a family, I don't want a kitchen island anymore. I just don't know what for. It's certainly not a work surface.

We men really have to suffer ... :(:rolleyes: But we love our wife(s) and children ... :D

I’d like to contribute a picture of the house, if that’s OK with you. ;)

The boards on the roof edge will still be painted anthracite. Apparently, they’ve already tried it on the right side of the gable. The gable is already to spec. Some idiot painted the boards white on purpose. Then the rest of the tiles and gutters will be installed.

Solar with 5kWp per side (east/west) was also installed yesterday.

Finally, after a month of downtime due to weather, things are moving forward again. The bricks have already been sorted. I’m super excited to see how the face of the house will change!

Nevertheless, poles that are higher than eye level are very impractical and therefore, in my opinion, too high - it doesn't do you any favors, as you can see.

oops... then I recommend making this corner more homely. Surfaces that look like places to put things down are "cared for" less than corners that are made homely :)

I didn't know that Siemens also builds scaffolding ;) Very nice house, but whether it looks better with the clinker bricks, I don't know. But feel free to convince me!
