Symmetry is not "carved in stone" for me, it just seems more pleasing in "normal" houses.

Then please also put picture examples in that thread of what on earth "normal" houses are supposed to be

Even though this is about pictures of houses, I'll just present my 2020 project. For us, it's going in a different direction, from a 160m2 half-timbered house from 1856 with 1000m2 of land to a loft in an industrial monument. At the very top, 178m2 over two levels with a beautiful 18m2 loggia. Completely newly renovated.
Why take on the work that awaits in such an old house and the big garden?
As I said, no house but maybe someone here is interested.
