That's what we thought too. We're getting a splash guard with gravel around the house, which we can then "repeat" at the spot between the posts. The thing is, our terrace is about 6m wide but "only" 3.60m deep. With the posts in the lawn, we wouldn't have any trouble precisely defining the foundation and later having the full 3.60m to sit underneath.

Meal time,

we have now managed, after more than a year, to reinforce and plaster the solid basement. The topcoat will come in 2 weeks.
And we have finally found a garden landscaper, who is already working behind the house.. :)

You must have built in a gap between buildings. It feels like we have checked out almost every new development area in WÜ/SW/KT in the last 2 years. I don't know your house. :D
