It's just annoying when the oven door is briefly open because you're taking out the casserole and at that moment someone opens the kitchen door... then the door is broken. Wouldn't a sliding door have fit?

Sure, but Karsten deliberately chose against a house with various fancy features - the costs were supposed to remain manageable.

Then a stove with Silde&Hide would have been necessary.

I think Ikea is almost only worth it if you assemble it yourself. With MyHammer you can also have a lot of bad luck.

Why?

Nordlys has built a very well-thought-out house for himself and his wife. He questioned every gadget or must-have and did a personal cost-benefit analysis. He has an oven without any bells and whistles that he hardly uses.
