The glass cost a bit extra, but it wasn't worth mentioning. The insert filling would have been expensive, but it wasn't worth it to us. That would have cost over €1,000 extra [emoji15]

This is how it looked yesterday on our construction site. Unfortunately, there is a delay because the structural builder received the Poroton bricks too late. Actually, the upper floor should almost be finished by now.

Look on the bright side. For us, it’s now 6 months delay, we have nothing except a construction pit. The shell builder has been fired, the contract was terminated. Rarely came across such a pain in the ass of a contractor. Thought it was a 7k 14k expensive lesson. Build with a craftsman whose goal is to get things done, not with companies that are maybe bigger but rather write letters (!) instead of talking to the customer

Very good prices. The house would have easily cost 100k-150k more here with us - according to a comparison with our LVs and similar items. Windows (+17k) are very cheap, for example heating/plumbing without fixtures (+17k), screed (factor 2), architect (+24k) as well. Or are those net prices [emoji848][emoji6]

A lot has happened here again in two days. On the ground floor, the steel rods that were apparently supporting the ceiling have now been removed, there are sheets with tar on the floor that smell strongly (is that supposed to be there and yes, why??), we have the battens on the roof, on which the tiles will probably be placed on Wednesday, the gutter is attached, and the electrician has laid outdoor cables and fixed the cables in the grooves with clips. On the earth-adjacent walls, a cement-colored plaster was applied, and next week the waterproofing with foil (?) is planned
