Our only sink was initially the one in the guest bathroom – and that only because my husband installed it (we simply liked the IKEA sink best – also in terms of price-performance ratio). Otherwise, we would have kept the outdoor faucet in front of the door...
This was our salvation:

Very pretty! What facade color is planned?
Ah:
...even though I can't really imagine what this description means and if anything, then something really quirky *ggg*, but I think it’ll work out. Now it sounds like coffee blend with sea buckthorn juice
NERD!!!!
Also, I wanted to throw something into the pantry-yes-or-no debate.
We have a pantry – no discussion for me.
For those who remember: disguised behind a kitchen front door, you go directly from the kitchen into the pantry in my place:

And honestly, all that stuff I stashed there, I don’t want to put it in random drawers and cabinets.

And the freezer cabinet is also practically within reach (and saves me from having a freezer compartment in the fridge, which makes it bigger again).
Also, our lighting guy was here again yesterday. Now we have our outdoor lights on the balcony too:

The small, dark boxes right and left of the big window. Those are up-and-down lights and the angle can be individually adjusted. We would also do that – if there was power there *grmpf*
Today, our electrician is coming back; he’s supposed to just turn on power everywhere now. If he has safety concerns, then please protect all cables with terminal blocks.
The parapet won’t stay like that – solar panels will be installed on top of it and around that our facade cladding. Inside, I don’t really find the parapet impressive either, let’s see if I come up with anything else there.
On the open side, the balcony will be extended to the property boundary and will wrap around the corner to the terrace on the left. But that’s still future music. As long as there’s still a construction site behind the house and masonry work has to be done there, the balcony will stay as is for now. We still have to drive behind it with construction equipment and it doesn’t make sense to build further right now. It’s mainly there for now so we can install the solar panels.
And in the main bathroom, we now also have our main light!!!!

And as you can see: it even works! Hip-hip-hurrayyyyy!
It was a good choice; the light shining upwards really nicely illuminates the rooftop and creates a great light.
This week the electric radiator for the bathroom is finally supposed to arrive and on that will be our towel holders for the shower towels; then we can finally hang them up instead of draping them over the shower partition and bathtub edge
And here’s a picture of my two cats who have moved with us, in their current main hangout, our bedroom:

At least not UNDER the bed! But yesterday it was pretty quiet in the house, only the lamp guy was here in the morning. That was rather relaxing for the two of them.
The pantry was planned perfectly .........and the rest was carried out with lots of love !!
