43 cm exactly so that the insulation could be installed. Zero was not possible

My German teacher would have said: "please speak in complete sentences!" - 43 cm knee wall for the installation of insulation? - I don't understand that: the knee wall is measured from the top edge of the finished floor, including everything that is built into the floor (?)

: wrong, the knee wall refers to the height of the last wall starting from the raw floor on which the wall plate for the roof rests. Often executed as a ring beam.

Exactly, and this piece of wall is what I meant. It is 43cm high. The architect also referred to it as a [Kniestock]. We didn't want one at all, but unfortunately that was not possible. In our case, it is not the floor that is insulated, but the roof itself. Since it is a passive house, it is correspondingly thick.

It rained during the night and a significant amount of water has entered again. Annoying.

This is what the ventilation room looks like. Several buckets of water had to be carried out again.

And here is the office, where the water is pushing through the wall.

The construction manager was also there and then said that it is coming in over the garage roof. This is what it looks like on the garage.

And like this in the garage (in the corner that was still dry yesterday; so now there are two corners there that look like this):

The construction manager then told the plumbing company to make various drillings in the garage roof. One hole is supposed to be drilled into the front parapet so that the water can drain there (hopefully then it won’t always drip in front of my house and I won’t have to walk between the wall and the dripping water from the garage to the house). They are also apparently supposed to drill into the ceiling, as I understood it.

To top it all off, it also seems that the house’s water connection is defective. It is dripping. It has now been tightened with a wrench; it had a lot of play. Strange that it suddenly drips there now and definitely didn’t for about two months before. Everything was still dry yesterday!

The construction manager said that the screed work planned for Thursday may be postponed to next week, as the screed layer forgot to plan for the Eid al-Adha, which his employees are apparently attending, causing delays on other construction sites as well. We’ll see.....

He then also called the roofer to carry out some work on the garage roof tomorrow so that we have peace there then.

Strange. I have never heard of a flat roof that works perfectly. Only trouble with it.
