Have you asked the electrician about the empty conduits for media?

Yes, he couldn't make anything of the question and I didn't know how to phrase it more precisely. However, he knows that an expert specializing in electrical work will inspect the whole thing. Therefore, he must be aware that everything has to be properly done.

It is surprising that an electrician can’t make sense of the fact that certain cables must be installed in empty conduits according to DIN – at least that is my understanding of the standard quoted earlier in the thread.

Changing this afterwards also has disadvantages for you: it causes delays in construction.
He has to do double work for this.

Which cables exactly does he have to put into the empty conduits? Then I'll tell him tomorrow to do that.

I'm neither an electrician nor an expert, to begin with.

The "DIN 18015-1:2013-1:" talks about "...information and communication technology (ICT), distribution systems for radio/television or broadcasting and communication technology (RuK) as well as interactive services and, if applicable, high-voltage systems, separate conduit networks must be provided for each." and further "...it must be possible to pull through or replace cables;..."

More via Google from "DIN 18015-1:2013-1 first hit (quotes above are from the source)

In my interpretation, the following should therefore
- TV cables (SAT/cable)
- Network (LAN)
- Telephone lines
be installed in conduits.

How it is, for example, with control cables for KNX => no idea

I would contact the expert, he can certainly answer the question off the cuff.

I don't have one yet. The new building surveyor will recommend one to me later. But I won't meet him until July 2nd.
