We had two office furniture pieces standing for years on about 10 sqm in the bathroom ... without controlled residential ventilation ... nothing happened ... despite constant bathing and wellness shower ...

I see it that way too. The classic worrywart always fears something and when it happens once, the answer comes: "See....I told you so....". If you build and use something like that, then you are aware that you always keep an eye on moisture. The bathroom is just as humid when bathing/showering; that doesn't harm the tiles but it would affect the contents of the drawers, the plaster, the silicone, the joints, etc. I hear it often when I say that I would like to have a wooden floor in the bathroom again. Oh dear... then it starts. But I already had it, and even children don't turn a bathroom into a swimming pool, and an oiled/lacquered wooden floor doesn't mind at all if water gets on it. If it stays on there permanently, yes, but you also wipe the tiles dry after bathing... at least I have instructed my staff to do so. Beautiful things require courage; without courage often fewer beautiful things. I once had an acquaintance who explained to me the in my opinion ugly color of his sofa by saying that his kids sometimes make sauce stains with spaghetti. Wow - that was certainly a compelling argument.

I’m writing little here at the moment due to lack of time....but is it really that expensive? In simpler versions I sometimes use it in exhibition stand construction (of course not at the moment) and there the price is absolutely "okay" for decoration

The shown, ready-framed picture will certainly have cost 500-700€.
