@ Alessandro. It's really a shame that it doesn't fit. But hopefully it will be improved later. Just a general question about the seat windows: I find them visually very nice, but how are they actually used in everyday life? Do you just sit there and look into the garden, for reading a book I would miss a backrest. I'm just asking naively

It is definitely used, it also always depends on where you plan it. Here's an example from our house (with backrest)

We also really like the idea of a seating windowsill. However, the windows then always have a custom size regarding dimensions and sill height. We find that too inflexible ♀️ We are currently looking for ideas and solutions for alternatives to a window or a patio door with standard dimensions

The upholstery is made of leather. A bay window always looks good and makes the room cozy, I think. Whether we will use it much later, I don’t know, but for the relatively low price you definitely have an eye-catcher in the house and it enhances the room or the window.
