The transition is made as follows. I lay a fleece on the drainage concrete now and then pull the soil directly up to the tiles... The lawn should then be slightly higher so I can mow right over it. My buddy has the water jet; he cut everything that goes into the reveals. We did the cutting work for the L parts with a wet cutting machine. Yes, the thing with the water connection is not optimal, but it can't be changed anymore... and since I only connect the hose when I need it, it's bearable. You just become calmer, and with the architect's house, you can't think everything through 100% from the start.
