I can help with that: in my experience, it is distributed among architects just as it is in other professional groups. Not all architects are Bauhaus followers or Waldorf school students. For example, I do not know whether architects find Neuschwanstein Castle "pretty."
It is by no means genetic that architects drive Saabs and only listen to music from Braun hi-fi systems.Regarding architects, I also have the impression that they want to be original and "immortalize" themselves with their work, artists after all, which does not necessarily have to align with the wishes or the wallet of the client.
Even in a prefab house, you can place your windows made to measure according to your taste, of course within the limits allowed by the structural engineer. However—concerning your wish to pester the architect with spontaneous special requests—keep in mind that with a prefab house manufacturer (as with the general contractor of solid construction) you have to understand the included planner more as "quote-unquote architects." So get used early on to not having to play there—outside, there are only little pots (of coffee).Regarding the architect of our prefab house manufacturer, I hope that he can tell me definitively what the dimensions of the windows should be and how many windows/doors we can aesthetically integrate into our new house. I have already realized for myself that I find tall, narrow windows/doors, and many of them, prettier than few but wide windows/doors.
