Zaba, oak is also nicer! You will enjoy it for years to come, so it is worth the money.

All our walls are now sealed with Fermacell:

That really gives you a proper living feeling!

In addition, the front door has received a protective cover to prevent any damage:

Now it's time for filling and sanding - we already got a preview of this yesterday evening when we went into the house and could hardly breathe because of the dust. This is probably the most unpleasant part now - but it should be finished by the end of next week.

Then the underfloor heating will be installed, using these floor panels where the heating loops run:

Since we have this type of underfloor heating without the need for screed, we also have no heating-up phase - meaning the tiler can start in the bathroom as soon as these panels with the heating loops are in place. Planned from calendar week 22 - we are already so excited!

Nice front door and I also find the no-screed thing exciting but the heating loops or underfloor heating runs on electricity, right?

@Oak steps: As long as there is still money, it continues like this without compromises.

The wife took photos... I, as a symmetry fanatic, didn’t think about the tile layout, but I think it was done well despite the lack of coordination... and yes, you see correctly, we don’t have stainless steel edges at the top as a finish.

Why, what is wrong with it?

The motto of drainage planning is the shortest way outside, no built-over branches, and branches should be maintainable. This is the complete opposite.

Nope, completely traditionally water-based.

There is a very old thread, but the plans attached there no longer correspond to reality.

Here are relatively current plans (in the order basement, attic, upper floor):
