Okay, just to be safe, we went to the heating engineer first because of the [Kontrollierte-Wohnraumlüftung] and sewage pipes, and then to the structural engineer. That's why we never had the problem. However, we couldn't drain the bathtub any other way.

With us, even a single wastewater pipe goes through an exterior wall. Unfortunately, I don't have a photo, but it looked similar. And I still remember that I stuffed quite a bit of glass wool in there before the masons bricked up the shaft.

An alternative would be to go through interior walls (an 11 cm wall is definitely not enough for that) or to make a "boxing out," possibly along the entire length of the wall if you don't want any offset in the finished wall.

Sure, there is always another way. But since I am building according to KFW standards and the construction site is regularly inspected by the KFW energy efficiency expert and the structural engineer (mandatory here in Hesse) and there were no objections in this regard, I assume that neither the structural integrity nor the U-value suffers too much.

Something different : But you don’t want to install roller shutters/venetian blinds and/or light switches anywhere there, do you?
