Well, there are plenty of laying patterns in the world. You have to know what you like and what makes sense. A straight joint always works, you often see it even in catalogs of wood-look tiles. But it wouldn't be my thing; the "fake" comes across better with parquet-typical laying patterns.

But what I actually wanted to express is that this is not a wild bond, but “something”. Even a wild bond has rules.

Well, I really like the front! The laying pattern doesn't bother me visually at all because of the wood look... although I usually like everything to be symmetrical

Such a floor slab is strange. It’s hard to imagine that the whole house fits on this area, sometimes it seems huge. It’s like the form of the day. Nice that it’s making progress.

Kitchen furniture was delivered today. Assembly and measurement for the Dekton slab will take place tomorrow and Thursday.

Furthermore, I was able to install some power/network and TV sockets as well as the first KNX sensors

The basement shower room now also has tiles

Next week, the stairs will be fitted with lacquered oak steps and the week after that, hopefully, the ceiling-height glass sliding door will be installed. 2.60 x 2.40m will surely be spectacular.

We are slowly approaching the home stretch

Yes, that's true. But with apartment hunting it's often the same even with unfurnished rooms. Sometimes they seem huge and then you wonder how little fits in, and sometimes they looked so small but turn out to be large.
