I think I’m addicted to construction. When I see a slab like that, it’s almost like sex.

I wouldn’t have thought that photos of slabs could provoke such reactions. Should we need a password-protected 18+ area?

I’ll try to post the next two photos in the open area. If that doesn’t work, I’m sure someone with administrator rights will volunteer to delete them.

The pictures show the slab as it is ready for concreting and after the pour that took place today.

Why are the spacers lying on the side?

I discussed this question with my master mason today. For him, it was simply about the height. The base slab is 30 cm thick.

The following photo shows how you can gain additional height depending on the position of the spacers.
