Oh Christmas lights... the year is going by way too fast...
For us, the house handover is in about 3 weeks. Then the move really gets closer with every one of our tasks inside.
I'm still looking forward to it...

Yes, that was our wish at the beginning of the year, but we abandoned it months ago. Even if the handover were a few weeks earlier now, it wouldn’t have worked out. My husband is a teacher and can’t take time off outside of the school holidays, so only weekends would remain if our daughter is still supposed to see her dad during the week. This way we can fully use the Christmas holidays (which extend two weeks into January), where siblings and friends have already firmly committed to help.

The roof is being worked on at our place starting today.
