To me, it looks like you want to slaughter a cow there. You could then just steam-clean it on a large scale with a Kärcher.

For example, I don't like half-tiled bathrooms. If it were up to me, the guest bathroom would also be tiled. Here, I'm already annoyed by the transition from ceiling-high to 1.5m.
And if I already take many concrete tiles, then at least I can set myself apart from the crowd with ceiling-high ones.
But you're right, by tiling it all the way up, the corner currently lacks contrast. But if the shelf surfaces are changed to gray and a bathtub cover is added on top, it will look better visually. Who knows, maybe a shelf will be added later, but it has to match the gray furniture.
