Between the wall and the tile, there should be silicone in grout color and not grout...

There are only tips. I am well aware that the tiler does not take the time to tape all the edges again. The problem is that it is very difficult to avoid contact with the wall when laying tiles unless he works very accurately and pays extreme attention (no offense, but when I see the grout pattern, I cannot imagine it). Therefore, I would simply take the time and tape everything around again, no matter with what.

Just out of curiosity: What would you say is wrong with the grout pattern based on the picture? I actually think it looks pretty good. Or do you mean the width of the longitudinal joints?

This doesn't really belong here. I don't want to spoil anyone's joy about their new tiles. I know how happy you are when it looks finished and how annoying it can be when someone points out something and you then notice it and keep looking at it. I can gladly write it to you via DM. @ Blaupuma: It's nothing dramatic, just maybe not the best professional performance.

@borderpuschel

I know that from my wife, if I don’t show it to her she doesn’t care, but woe if she knows, then it’s the end of the world

I would also be interested in what is wrong.

Thank you
