@All those who are so "nice" to tear apart our kitchen here or mutter a ruminating "poorly planned"... why don't you simply ask beforehand?
Something like: Why...etc? Instead of: poorly planned!
The answer to the "why" would have been, for example, the following:
We originally planned the kitchen in a completely different spot, including the windows etc., but thanks to this great forum, we changed our minds at short notice (!), the advantages of the new placement completely outweighed the disadvantage "window cannot be fully opened," and I am still grateful to the forum members for convincing us to swap the spot.
In addition, the plan was still made (!) to extend the countertop under the window, unfortunately "forgotten" to prepare by the site manager, too bad, unlucky. By the way, the window can still be opened and cleaned quite well, the construction company made up for the "forgotten" part very generously in another matter, the kitchen fitter solved it visually perfectly for us, we like the kitchen very much, we are happy.
Taste (appearance) is hard to argue about, we like the color, so that's why we ordered it. Not because the neighbor has it or anything like that, after all, we are not 4 years old wanting his sandbox shovel.
And about the non-integrated fridge: please feel free to do it with a side-by-side if you have the space and the money for it. I love my fridge, wanted it absolutely, drink my Havana with ice from my dispenser, and am satisfied...
All good, can take criticism, but not asking beforehand is taking the easy way out for me.
