[quote]Where is the problem with Faktum eventually being replaced
The problem is that you no longer get a replacement! So where is the problem with keeping Faktum? So the 60 cm width should remain because electrical appliances are based on it, I don't think Ikea will build custom-made electrical appliances. The depth will also not be reduced, because otherwise you could buy the countertops at the hardware store. Basically, only the dimensions of the drillings will be changed so that Faktum fronts no longer fit. Furthermore, there will probably be a lower size because low kitchens are modern.

I can well imagine that there will be new carcasses that are higher than 70 cm. The working height at kitchen manufacturers has increased in recent years. IKEA responded with 20 cm high legs. This doesn't look so great and wastes space.
Of course, I also don't like that after my next move I can no longer adapt the kitchen, but there can never be innovations if you always stick to the old. The only problem is that IKEA does not announce such changes early enough. Especially among IKEA customers, you should find some who do a lot of DIY work themselves and then, just one year before the change, don't want to buy a new kitchen that they can no longer tinker with as much. Hollow furniture boards would be really bad, but I can't really imagine that, since it is clear that built-in kitchens almost always require adjustments.
