He does have a pattern that takes longer to lay, 20x20 stones are easier. We have the Baretto XL from Kronimus, the landscaper also cursed at it, especially when my wife found a mistake after rows.
Regarding the facade, I can only say ours is also smooth like a baby’s bottom in raking light but the plaster was machine-applied in the factory and only the corners were finished on site; however, we have a recessed edge at the floor level.
