You’re welcome to do that, I like coming home without having to light a fireplace, aside from what it costs, the mess it makes, not to mention buying, cutting, and storing wood... I did enough of that as a child and I’m fed up with it. Here, it’s almost always a comfortable 22 degrees, and the rest is regulated by the self-regulating effect for me.

Sorry, but that is nonsense too. Anyone who knows a bit will realize that the price difference isn’t really that much. But fine, we better say yes and amen to every picture and everyone is happy here. Questioning things objectively doesn’t seem to suit many people in our society and being direct certainly doesn’t either.

That doesn’t mean I come home to 18 degrees. Here the heaters are on and also 22 degrees, but for coziness we light the fireplace, and logically turn the heating off. And we don’t have to do that, we want to do it. Of course, everyone can do as they please. My opinion doesn’t have to be yours. And if you don’t want work and mess, you might want to consider a rental apartment without a garden.

that is nonsense too, just because I am tired of making wood and don’t want to deal with the mess, I am very happy about the garden we have. I won’t let anyone talk me into otherwise.....Garden is not a fireplace

A fireplace cannot be replaced by anything, I have learned again. Whether underfloor heating or radiators is a matter of taste, both have advantages and disadvantages. Underfloor heating is more common and for many simply more modern. We have it too, I would not want to give it up. But without a fireplace, something would definitely be missing.

Very neatly laid, no missing areas at first glance.
