That was very prudent. However: To complain, one neither has to think logically nor be in the right. If something bothers them, they will complain, whether it is legitimately bothersome or not.

That’s true again. Although the building area is also designed by the slope so that my roof with its 22 degrees should not cause glare. Our photovoltaic system is located at the highest point. All other houses are lower, and on the opposite slope there is a forest that will never be developed. But that’s just by the way.

Regarding the construction progress:
- The screed is drying
- After Easter, the facade will be finished and the scaffolding will be removed
- As already mentioned, we will plaster the joints and prime them
- The outdoor area will already be done this year. My construction coordinator wanted us to choose paving stones at the building materials wholesaler. I liked paving stones for €55 per sqm (gasp). When I told him how much it cost, he called and said he would order it through his client account. Result: €32 per sqm.

I really think that’s a rip-off. What a second-class society. Small builders get completely ripped off.

And? Volume discounts are available everywhere. Otherwise, the volume of your paving wouldn't justify the effort to accept the order at all. In the building materials wholesale trade, the word "wholesale" is what counts. I rather wonder what kind of paving it is. Natural stone? Concrete at that price, probably not?!

Personally, I don’t find 170 sqm to be little (of course, far from a major customer). It’s some kind of sealed concrete stone, so not rough, with glitter inside and a thickness of 10 cm.

Our awning was installed today. This is exactly how we imagined it.
It was now fixed into the concrete coating with 12 pieces of 30cm anchor sleeves. The installer said if that thing ever comes down, it would more likely be because the house is collapsing.

After the grass around the wall grew so badly last year, I dug out an edge for the mower this spring (including drainage + concrete foundation), which we then extended generously around the steepest spot because the robotic mower always had problems there.
It turned out ideal to plant something there. It looks completely different than when everything was bare.
