I’m thinking of something like that because of the corner window. Normally, the masons start at the corners rather than finishing them last. Hence the thought that something else is going there, and then smaller format will be fitted up against it.

For me, the garage does not necessarily belong to the ground floor.

Just ask in which position the garage is included.
The missing corner is the same. It looks intentional.

I would pay, notice the missing part, and pay the next installment only when the masonry work is finished.

The execution plan says (a little insider knowledge from PM) "Support according to statics and detail." So I think a steel support will be installed, to which then small-format masonry will be built. That makes sense, and that masons would, just for fun, "start counterclockwise today" and then leave a gap cluelessly is something I’ve at least never heard of.

I would have thought the support would be installed earlier – but as long as the pit props are standing, you can probably continue (with the ceiling) anyway.

Exactly, everyone has to decide for themselves, so just stay relaxed and don't take it personally right away

Didn’t know what exactly one should be jealous of there. Is that something special?

We are building with an architect; if I were uncertain, I would also get an expert.
