Oh, that’s annoying. The past is part of a person too, it’s made us into who we are today.
I still have a box upstairs with really nice things. My first "love letter" on a Diddl postcard from sixth grade. And a note that says "Doctor’s appointment tomorrow. I’ll drive you. Dad" – I put that in back then because I thought it was funny that he signed it "Dad." Today, since he’s no longer alive, it’s such a nice memory. ♥

Since the last update in mid-January, quite a bit has happened with us: windows have been installed, the air conditioning has been prepared, the electrical installation is done, and the plumbing will also be completed by early next week. At the end of the week, the plasterers will come to our house. In May, our photovoltaic system and the installation of the underfloor heating will be done as our own work.

Of course, it did not go without obstacles... In winter, we noticed a wet spot on the basement floor that just wouldn't go away. We initially hoped that condensate was dripping from the ceiling there. However, our expert identified it as a leaking white tank. Therefore, concrete restorers were at the house this week and sealed the leak with epoxy. The necessary lifting station so far only exists in the drainage application. Somehow, there was quite some deception involved, and the construction company is shirking responsibility. Now it’s up to us (and our semi-detached neighbors) to find a suitable pump...
