Nice kitchen, how much did you pay for it in total?

so the thing with the sink wouldn't be for me either... and then also in stainless steel, oh wow, I'm glad I don't have something like that anymore. Do you think it stays looking nice for a long time? Or is it more of a "show" kitchen? Generally, the kitchen looks good, the round "lamp" is supposed to be the extractor, does something like that work well?? The combination of tile and wooden floor also looks good.

We have the "cheap" version of such a sink - from Ikea. We deliberately decided against drip grids, those things are ugly and waste space on the countertop. We don’t wash anything by hand. For that, there is the dishwasher. Large individual items that are washed by hand anyway are simply dried off. Thanks to the size of these sinks, you can hang in a drip tray insert if you really need it. At least Ikea offers that as an accessory. What is wrong with stainless steel? It works wonderfully and is durable. What would be a sensible alternative?

: My opinion!

: What exactly is a show kitchen?
The extractor works quite well. But actually, I hardly ever use it. Probably due to our diet. After about 30 minutes, you can't smell anything anymore despite the open living area, thanks to controlled residential ventilation.

: Phew, I think about €10,000

Well, a kitchen where not much cooking is done... I didn't want stainless steel anymore, after a while it doesn't look so nice anymore and requires more maintenance, right? We're choosing one made of ceramic

Hmm.. don't know. I've always had stainless steel and wanted stainless steel again. I somehow don't like ceramic. If the sink always has to be perfectly clean, stainless steel is probably not a good choice. I clean the sink maybe twice a week with vinegar cleaner, that's enough. I think the fact that our water is softened plays a role. Nothing sticks that quickly. Cooking is done a lot anyway, I think more often than average.
