It is also too cool for us, but the purple wouldn't be my thing either. For us, it will be more Mediterranean - combined with DB 703 it can still work well and takes away some of the coolness.

I still prefer Smokey Eyes over the carmine red bay windows, or the popular confusion of Tuscany with Toast Hawaii, which for me belongs in the same / yellow sack as the Hornbach style. You actually have to be grateful to some aesthetics dyslexics when they “leave out” the muntins on the anthracite windows. For Eldeas’ house, only the tonal contrast of the plinth is too strong for me, and its bending around the corner is not quite my thing either. And I have to agree: it almost becomes a “value in itself” to have the only non-white house on your street. The delivery drivers will be happy about that.
