Our interior plaster is now completely finished. Gypsum plaster in the living rooms and lime-cement plaster in the bathrooms. Very neat and smooth workmanship. From now on, we are allowed to ventilate diligently. Which is not so easy with a 20-minute one-way drive [emoji13]

What do you currently prefer in direct comparison? Gypsum or lime-cement plaster?

The lime-cement plaster is rougher, I actually prefer that. Unfortunately, we were advised against applying it throughout the whole house because it is so rough. But I actually find it perfect and almost regret that we only have it in the bathrooms. As a base for a coarse textured plaster in the eco style, it would be perfect.

Here in our region, the trend for many is towards gypsum plaster - considered the "best" solution. It goes without saying that both have advantages and disadvantages.

Since we don't have [Kontrollierte-Wohnraumlüftung], it will probably be lime-cement plaster. The quality of the plasterer is also very important, as the whole thing often stands or falls with that.
