I am aware of that. It is what it is, and in most planting suggestions it is also described which species will presumably prevail. Otherwise, the saying applies: "only the tough ones stay in the garden" ;)

Do you mean where the screed was opened? Yes, the building surveyor has to take another look and it needs to be repaired. They were not there before it was opened. I hadn’t seen any elsewhere.

I know exactly how it went down:
They chiseled, oops the screed cracks - come get the angle grinder quickly....
Unfortunately really annoying in the edge area. What kind of finish will be applied? A tile might possibly compensate for it, but glueing would be better.

It also happened to my fitter on the ground floor. Unfortunately, it was only noticed after the tiles were already laid. Fortunately, the correction spot is in the utility room. But he didn’t want to tile again himself and only roughly filled it with screed concrete. That means I first had to even it out with repair mortar, then sand it smooth again, and then tile it myself because the tilers had, of course, already moved on. But it fits quite well.

It happened exactly like that. Tiles will be applied, yes. But as I said, if the building expert recommends something, we will do it. We have already received a tip that the cracks should be cut open and filled with resin. But our building expert should decide that, I’m not that familiar with screed, but I already thought it can’t stay like that. Thanks for the hints, we definitely have it on our radar. It will take until October until the tiles go on, so it doesn’t matter for now.
