Then I would have approached the planning differently all the more. The plot almost cries out for a basement with an integrated entrance.
Of course, we have a basement, with an entrance on the north side. The house is situated so high because of the sewer - at least if you work with natural slope and don’t want to rely on an electric pump/lifting system for life - no other height is allowed. When I look at the stairs next to the garage (11 steps at ~20cm) that's probably more than 2m height difference over ~6-8m? So 25-30% gradient?
The steps are each 15 cm high. And from the street to the front door it is more than 14 meters. Since paving is currently being done under the porch, the slope goes over 12.5 meters. That would then be 7.8 degrees or 13.75 percent.
