I took a closer look at the connecting pins in the link again. It was reported there that when connected with flat steel, the front bends forward when opened. Therefore, the offered connecting pins seem too thin to me. Maybe others can still be found. I also just googled.
At least you used the correct term for the search.
In my search, only kitchen studios etc. came up that offer pinning as a service, but never the pins themselves...
The problem with bending probably arises because the front attachment on the dishwasher only starts at about 21 cm from the top; with a 20-20-40 division, there is only the handle on the topmost front, but no attachment to the dishwasher.
And a flat steel alone probably cannot withstand the bending forces when pulling on the handle.
But maybe pinning with flat steel will work.
Because the pins have a spacer ring, and that should act as support and thus prevent the flat steel from bending and the upper front from tipping forward...
I used a whole front on mine but I think it should work if I don’t screw these plastic holders, which have to be screwed onto the front, directly to the front but attach them to the front using "spacers" and somewhat longer screws. Then the distance between the dishwasher door and the front increases by the thickness of the spacers and you can mount flat steel/Vaglig or similar in between.

That would have been my plan exactly.
But:
Hello,
That won’t work because the door then hits the dishwasher at the bottom when opening.
The door swings fully into the dishwasher over its entire width. There is barely enough space for this rubber mat. If you screw the door on with spacing, that is exactly the millimeters of play needed for the door to swing in.
Thanks, I was missing this info!
Unfortunately, the dishwasher manual does not specify a maximum front thickness, only width and height are given.
But the mat is supposed not to work properly at Ikea anyway and always slide in front of the plinth.
So I will probably leave it out.
