Wanted to lay the floors of Children's Room 1 + Children's Room 2 through the mini hallway - the longest planks are about 6m
6 m should not be a problem, especially not with laminate. Parquet is more critical, it can warp and start to creak. The temperature differences between the rooms are not really the problem, rather the different humidity levels between summer and winter. That might be about 60% versus 40%. And if each plank only expands or contracts by 1/10 mm, you can quickly have trouble with parquet. Laminate is less critical in that regard.
