House Pictures Chat Corner - Show off your house pictures!

Don't want to show off now; actually, but kind of do.
Excavation started with us in mid-March and the roof on our two-story house with a basement was completely covered by early May, despite Easter holidays and snowfall, right on time for the roofer's work.

What costs time and is incredibly tedious is unfortunately always the interior finishing... :-(
By the way, there are no photos, my boyfriend wouldn't agree to that.

For us, it also went very quickly: topping-out ceremony 5 weeks after the first groundbreaking, 10 days later the drywall and windows were finished. 6 months after the first groundbreaking, we moved in.

Admit it, you bribed the craftsmen or somehow threatened them with violence. Otherwise, it doesn’t move forward that quickly anywhere.
And yes, I love hipped roofs (besides slab floors). Matter of taste.

My husband was also completely in love with the wooden construction of our roof [emoji28]

Unfortunately, I don’t have any pictures of it from the outside. And inside you just can’t really photograph it like that. But it really looked great. We should have left it open. Who needs insulation and walls anyway [emoji23]
