Your recommendation is simply not feasible. Our hallway is 1.85m wide; with those distances, we wouldn’t be able to run all the cables at all. Our architect has already seen it and had no complaints. Btw, Google "rough installation KNX", all pictures there look like this ...

Well, if you give up KNX because of that, the demand probably wasn't all that great

Thank you very much. Now you know where the focus of the entire project lies.

The problem is also that with the dimensions of the garage, one could have built a house as well.

I didn’t want a flat roof on the garage, so you do need a certain structure.

Before more text is written here, to lighten the mood a few photos. After an annoyingly long day full of appointments, I had to go to the construction site at 7 p.m. to see something positive.

- The gables are built
- Roof tiles and insulation for the upper floor ceiling were delivered yesterday.
- Today, in annoying rainy weather, the roof will be erected from noon.

Interesting, I have never seen the gable being built in the direction of the roof before.

For us, it was a crappy job measuring, male or female, marking, cutting to size, lugging the stone up and pressing it tightly against the beams.

The procedure you use there is definitely much more comfortable for the masons.

PS: What does the last picture show?

That is not "my" recommendation, I am just repeating this information. My recommendation was to discuss the matter with your screed layer. In case of doubt, he understands more about it than an architect who at best sees KNX buildings with this cable congestion every three years.

As far as I remember, it would probably be sufficient if the pipe trays were completely covered by another layer (insulation). This follows from your planning for the floor structure.
