The earthworks specialist and the structural engineer said it doesn’t need to be supported at all, 200kN load plate compression test at the corners was fine.... but we want a straight finish at the bottom
That looks very fine-grained. With an undermining (pipe break is enough) I expect it to collapse like a soufflé. Nowadays, a lot of embankments are made where I think: someone has probably never seen a landslide.
This is 0-45 frost protection gravel, but I cannot share your concerns. Everything is in order. We are only this high in the last third of the extension; where the basic pipes used to be, we are standing on a 60 gravel bed.
Nothing against you 11ant, but I’d rather trust the 3 Gestirn Architect, Earthworker and Structural Engineer before I let the forum drive me crazy. Oh yes, everything was carried out exactly according to the specifications of the [Bodengutachten].
: it looks like you have heavily backfilled towards the neighbor and the field, approximately 1 m (?)
The slope to the left (as viewed from the front) needs to be supported about 2 m. To the right, it is not so bad. You can see this more clearly in the picture below.
