After only the construction power was installed in the week before Easter, things really got underway last week.
The first stage is completed, the lower floor slab was poured today.

Next, the distance wall to the upper floor slab will be poured and the upper floor slab prepared.

I could imagine that they might even finish that this week, then masonry work can start as early as next week.

The judging took place here last week. This week, the bricklayers will continue with the exterior walls.

The week after Easter was also a wild week here on the construction site. It started Tuesday with the crane, Wednesday the roof was already clearly visible, on Thu. the windows came, the roof continued to grow. On Friday doors and window sills arrived, along with three carpenters and an apprentice in a big attack putting the foil and battens on the roof. Today they made the sublayers and something inside under the roof. At the same time, a huge amount of glass wool is now stored in front of the garage and two stacks of drywall in foil. The packages with wooden beams, boards, and battens are almost all gone. Karsten

No, the gables would not have been necessary. However, I liked them so much that I simply included them as a must-have.

The construction work is coming to an end here. Among the last tasks are, among other things, the plank floors. We decided on larch, lightly white-oiled... Best regards, Steffi
