At this level, a discussion makes no sense because in the end everything is subjective. The majority known to me, including the owners, do not find it beautiful, but I'm sorry, I have not conducted any scientific study about it.... And if I had, you would probably doubt it or make a (far-fetched) fruit comparison.

So, I'll leave you with the last word then.

Hello Climbee, the black solar system is already very dominant.. maybe the panels could be arranged at least a bit more appealingly.. then they would look more like railing elements:

Otherwise, I find your house very, very beautiful
Best regards, Steffi

has already explained that it will stay that way. I have already gotten used to it. And the wooden facade is a real highlight with rarity value.

:
What kind of outdoor lights do you have there (manufacturer, product name)? Are the bulbs replaceable? I'm still looking as well... Many thanks.

Hm... well, I also find the wooden facade by interesting, even in uneven gray it's more attractive to me than bricks, for example. The solar thermal system up front... well. Does it really pay off? But yes, it's obviously very subjective. What I can't understand: they dig out extra for big windows in the basement and then put a huge balcony above it again, which lets in little light after all. Am I seeing this right, that this is the front garden side, meaning the terrace is in the back anyway? If you already feel watched from the street INSIDE the house, the use of the balcony will probably be limited. I would have probably saved that, a small exit with a walkway/stairs would have done. You could also have created privacy for the house in a way that damages the basement light less.
