Tell me, is it better to have metal as a dormer roof covering? I'm a bit surprised because in our views the dormer would have been covered with tiles... So my concerns now are increased noise during rain?

The roof over the dormers appears to be extremely flat. With single-digit angles, the tile is technically challenged regarding wind load and water drainage. You may have therefore received a metal roof.

Uiuiui These downpipes really ruin the look quite a bit
