Yes, we did.

Of course, one likes to read positive experiences with the oven!

We would also have liked to take more from Miele including a new washing machine and dryer, but at some point, there has to be an end... unfortunately...

For us too, it's: if Miele is available, then take Miele.

Whether that might also be outdated... maybe...

I would rather take a mid-priced model with all the bells and whistles and a good reputation than a bare-bones model from the upper segment at the same price. Like with the little car * I myself have also owned Miele once (washing machine and dryer): it did exactly the same as the Bosch machines do now. Miele was replaced because the operating technology and features were over 20 years old. For me, that is the reason to change every 10/15 years rather than having to operate such an old Miele forever
* unless I have money coming out of my ears...

Yes, Miele falls behind there. The operation is 90 years old. ( * Entry-level model)

No, Miele is not lagging behind. This is the phenomenon of increasing amounts of technology. People want to replace it. And then Miele no longer pays off. Even if it lasts 30 years.

I have been using Miele appliances for decades whenever possible: in my opinion, they are reliable, and when there are problems, Miele comes by and either repairs or replaces them (once a refrigerator was replaced for a small amount because the previous model apparently had weaknesses – and all of this after the warranty period). The appliances have to be able to do what I clarified before purchasing them. I don’t need every technically possible gimmick (like smartphone control and smartphone notifications from the washing machine, for example). The likelihood that we will have complete Miele appliances again in our next house build is relatively high (unless there is no oven that opens sideways at eye level or the door is “sliding”). And some people don’t believe it: one also gets old – and is then glad to be able to use proven operating functions (I deliberately do not say "outdated").

Miele did not please me in terms of operation.

Washing machines, dryers, etc. are from Bosch because neither my parents-in-law, my parents, nor my husband are satisfied with Miele. The durability was lacking.
