The floor is real wood. That was important to us!

That is vinyl. Classen neo 2.0 in brownshaded Elm. Easy to lay, can be broken with a cutter and a bit of muscle power. But it is quite hard for vinyl and a bit slippery. It’s best to really order samples from different manufacturers and then leave them for a few days. That way you can also best see how they look in different lighting and how well you can see dirt (we have cat hair).

The tiler has tiled the first wall in the bathroom. We like it very, very much! This wall will only have this decorative tile. The rest will be in cream and the floor in brown.

But for me, everything has to be smooth and understated, and I always find it exciting what other possibilities there are. How did you come across these tiles as a shower backsplash? It's not mainstream. I'm always interested in the development behind that as well.

This tile color is called cream. So rather beige. The sink will go on this wall. In the shower, there will be regular smooth tiles. My wife saw this tile from afar and immediately said this is our bathroom tile. After that, we aligned the wall and floor.
We are not exactly mainstream in this whole project..... and we don't want to be.

In the guest WC, the floor tiles 1.2x1.2m will also go on the wall.
